Peter Pan Preschool is run by a committee of parents, elected each year. The Committee oversees the teaching staff and
program, and the budget and takes responsibility for compliance with rules and regulations.

Whilst staff are fundamentally responsible for the day to day operation of the preschool, the committee is crucial to a community based preschool.

The committee is elected at the September AGM. Joining the Committee means you get to know the parents and
teachers much better and also get a feeling of achievement and contribution to the community.

The roles have some specific responsibilities, but in practice the Committee is a team which works together to improve the preschool, rather than as a group of people working in isolation.
